We have always lived in North London. My great grandfather traced 5 generations back in the same borough. Am I inbred?

  1. If you were Irish you would be in Potatoes.

I can say Potatoes because I’m Irish.

  2. The short answer is yes.

The longer one is well, you see, with utmost certainty, yes

  3. Everyone is inbred…

If you have 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents etc… Then it doesn’t take many generations before you need more ancestors than there have ever been people. We are all related more closely than we would probably like

  4. I have 100% British on that test too, don’t worry my deformities don’t get in the way much.

  5. Chap, I hate to break it to you, but you know the answer already.

  6. No. You should be angry that your homeland has been invaded.

  7. Until the invention of the bicycle there was quite a lot of inbreeding, mass mobility enabled people to travel further and meet new people they weren’t related to.

  8. You’re on reddit, very likely that you’re inbred.

  9. If your dad’s sister is your mum, then definitely

  10. Look on the bright side — if you ever want to print out your family tree, you won’t need much paper
