Here comes her attempt at a no confidence vote in Sunak!
I thought she’d give it at least 48 hours before kicking off with the leadership campaign
Heartbreaking: the Worst Person You Know Just Made a Great Point
The conservative party collapsing. But yet they will clock in a good amount of votes. We seriously don’t learn.
I absolutely hate all of this ‘silent majority’ shite these right-wing loons keep bringing out. A convient way to justify your hatred without having anyone support you.
I cant wait until the next election when the ‘silent majority’ very loudly tell Suella and all her ilk to, in no uncertain terms, piss off.
I mean what even are the key policies? The tories haven’t served anyone but themselves since they came into power.
Braverman only seems to care about one policy, using immigrants as a scapegoat for their failures of which the migrant crisis is the tip of the iceberg.
Lol I thought she was waiting to kick off til the high court decision on Rwanda legality tomorrow.
Oh well – grab some popcorn and let the games begin 🙂 If Nutsak thinks DC will be riding in to save him I have a nice bridge to sell him…
If she thinks she has any chance at the top job she’s totally fucking delusional.
I mean, she’s right that his plan isn’t exactly working but more importantly, and thankfully she isn’t working anymore either
Sadly she lacks the vision to spot quite how happy the country is about the fact she’s out of work, deluded if she thinks she had a crack at being in the top job
Braverman is the person on a group project who whines about everything, complains about everyone, tries to take over, but has no ideas of their own and in the end didn’t even contribute to the powerpoint.
Is this a political blunder by Braverman here? (I hope so.) If she’d resigned she could have claimed to have done so on principle, but this looks sour grapes from someone who’s just been sacked. She may have been outmanoeuvred, with the reshuffle coming before the Rwanda ruling.
Sunak could also threaten to call a GE if Braverman’s hail mary shot at forcing a leadership contest starts to gather steam.
A short summary of Braverman’s letter:
“You have no right and no mandate to be Prime Minister and you are the wrong person for the job, but I backed you in return for personal gain. You are an absolutely awful Prime Minister who is making the country worse, but I was happy to help you do so until you sacked me yesterday. Only someone who hates our country or who is totally corrupt bastard would back you like I did up until yesterday.”
Didn’t the leadership campaign commence once Liz Truss resigned..and no election has yet taken place?
A lot of directly fascist rhetoric in there;
“Won’t do what’s necessary”
“Polite opinion”
And the like – very much a self-confession that the “time” has come to say the quiet part very loudly.
Incoming fascist apologia rhetoric from this sub…
Braverman’s entire tenure can be characterised by failure to deliver.
I’m quite happy. The more support she pulls to Reform and more chaos sown. The better. At this rate the Tories will be wiped out for generations. That, that will at least ease, even in the smallest of senses, all the pain and suffering they have caused.
**TWICE FAILED HOME SECRETARY BLAMES EVERYONE BUT HERSELF**
Suella Braverman, twice sacked as Home Secretary, has today blamed the government for her own failings.
Braverman previously took to the National Conservatism conference to wonder why no one was stopping migrant boats, despite that responsibility resting in her own department.
The former Minister accomplished nothing in her time, aside from a pestilence-ridden barge for migrants and mouthing off.
Conservative members hope she’ll become the next Tory leader.
Buoyed by her divisive words and right-wing virtue signalling, grass roots Conservatives remain uninterested in actual accomplishments, preferring instead to hear angry words that make them feel good.
She failed to deliver as Home Secretary, I don’t like Rishi Sunak or the Tories but the nerve of her to say this.
All she did as Home Secretary is write articles slamming others or giving speeches to right wing think tanks in the US.
Ha ha this lady has no chance with voters even if she was in the running
>Incompetent ex-attorney general and ex-home secretary accuses others of being incompetent.
She should never have been anything other than a cranky backbencher.
A serious question, who could actually be the next PM if they outed Sunak? I don’t see any serious candidates
As Home Secretary, isn’t it her job to deliver on the PM’s plan?
She, um, she does understand, doesn’t she ? That the right wing isn’t her friend. I mean, her couple of dozen suellacide squad racist friends were chanting at the police ‘you’re not English any more’ (which I’m sure tickled the police officers drafted in from Wales and Scotland), what does she think they think of her ? She’s their useful idiot for now, sure… but long-term ?
He delivered her nutter arse out onto the street. Guess he got that one right at least.
*”I didn’t want the job anyway and rishi is a big smelly poo head”*
Here we go. If there is anyone left who votes for these charlatans, you need to have a word with yourself.
I despair at the vandalism the Conservatives have inflicted on Britain over the last 13 years.
However it is an absolute delight watching them yet again setting fire to their own house.
“Suella is saying what everyone thinks” says single lone person on Question Time to the dismay of the audience.
I love the idea that these people believe she represents the majority.
Braverman might hate Sunak more than she hates tents!
Reading her letter, it’s arrogant and delusional. It’s Tory civil war and thankfully she will lose.
However, one point she keeps repeating is the brexit vote in 2016 was for her policies on destroying the ECHR. At one point do we stop claiming that wishy washy question asked nearly a decade ago contained a carte Blanche of policies we couldn’t possibly have been voting on? There has to be a point where the public go “my granddad surely didn’t vote leave all those decades ago so you could xxxx”
Public accuses Braverman of being a far right extremist
Keep it coming.
The more public fighting within the Tory party, the less likely they are to win the next general election.

Braverman is the definition of a cunt, IMO.
