Train drivers of Deutsche Bahn unionised in the GDL will organise a 20-hour warning strike beginning tomorrow evining on 15.11 and going till 16.11.
Although there is no strike on 17.11 there will still be delays because trains aren’t were they are supposed to be. So even if you are travling on the 17th, make sure to check you trains in advance.

Is this all transport? Or just long distance? ICE + RE? Or just ICE? What about local city transport? Can i get from downtown frankfurt to the airport on Thursday morning?

This site has the DB rules and exceptions for tickets/travel planned during the strike.
Maybe add that to the text above?
I’ll be arriving on the 16th morning(06:00) at Frankfurt airport and had booked a ticket to my destination Magdeburg in the DB app.
As moving my journey forward is not an option due to my flight schedule, can I catch an alternate IC train after 18:00 (the strike ends at 18:00 if I’m not wrong). Do I have any other option(?) cuz waiting 12 hrs is a looong time.
Are EC and IC trains affected? I have had an email but when I check the apps I cant find any strike information about my trips. I can also not change the travel time
Seems like trains from companies Abellio (RE 1), Arriva (RE 18), National Express (RE 4), SNCB (RE 29/L 29), Rurtalbahn (RB 21, RB 28) and Vias (RB 34) are not affected.
