Dude i think the Spiegel hates soldiers. When the soldier says “let me look at my kill” or something like that the subtitel translates it to “beute” what means prey like wtf?
Can you imagine driving a bike in your own country and then some invaders start shooting and killing you..
They must be really proud of their achievements.

I’m guessing 5th BCT in 09-10. They have the 2ID patch, but wearing the UCP camo and not multicam.
5/2 was the first Stryker brigade to deploy to Afghanistan in Kandahar province. 5/2 also had a lot of bad publicity with the Maiwand kill team. After redeployment, the brigade was re-flagged as 2nd brigade right when I got there. In late 2011, 3/2 SBCT went to the Panjway area, and in 2012 the 2/2 SBCT was spread around Maiwand, Zhari, Arghandab, Kandahar City and Shawali Kot areas. Later in 2012, 4/2 SBCT replaced 3/2.
ETA: I’m not a German speaker, but I did catch the narrator saying 5th Stryker Brigade after watching again.

Look, far be it from me to second guess a member of a Stryker Brigade but why does he step out of cover and stand right in front of the bike?
I know one of the soldiers that was a part of this deployment, he told me about some pretty crazy shit.
