What a sad trend in deliveries for Ukraine this year.
Doesn’t include lend lease though !
Heartbreaking really. Destroying so much heavy equipment but still outnumbered orders of magnitude. 🙁
What sucks is the EU claims they need to keep their supplies ‘for their own defence’.. against who exactly if not the one Ukraine is fighting atm
With those numbers Ukraine will be overrun by late next year. Russia is doing good with his patient approach
Small mistake. PT-91 not PT-1.
Too bad for Russia that its weekly loss rates are equal to its monthly gains.
It doesn’t really seem like the same applies on the Ukrainian side.
If it was up to me it would be a lot more and ground troops as well.
The image acknowledges that some of Russia’s monthly supply is coming from their storage, so the numbers of new equipment they can actually produce each month is likely a fraction of what’s shown. We just need to ensure Ukraine can hold out until Russia’s reserves reach a critical point.
Of course, it’s doubtful Russia will run out completely anytime soon, but assuming they’re sending the good stuff for their war effort, it wouldn’t surprise me if the quality of their supplies deteriorates over time.
Now compare quality of equipment, quality of training, etc.
The west should be giving way more, but I doubt a Russian artillery shell is worth remotely close to half a western shell, or their cruise missiles doing anywhere near as much damage as the storm shadow has done.
Ukraine definitely has the superior long range fire advantage and infantry advantage, that isn’t enough for a break trough rapid offensive but it is what will win the war long term.
