Mam always thought the fruit was plums for some reason, they’re pomegranates. We thought it a hundred years old but it was made in 1767. Any ideas which company could have made it?

That is a big plate. Perfect to put 4 iced belgian buns on.
BTW it’s by Thomas Gimbert Booth and Fred Booth who were active 1850-1900 give or take so you were bang on the money with the age.
Some mischievous sod wrote an earlier year on that perhaps to drive its price up haha. Or perhaps it was the number the plate was in the series?
BTW, a plate like that in average quality will probably sell for £25. Much nicer to keep in the family rather than flog and buy a spoons meal for two.

Perfect for the buffet at Linton travel tavern 👌
Got your big plate, /u/DreamAccio133?
