Dec. 7th deadline seems a little far out. I’d expect something more along the lines of 24hrs?
My stalker told the judge that he gave his guns to a family member, and that was the end of it, no more questions asked. It’s not just CA, most states just tell criminals to turn over their guns and it’s honor system if they actually do. Bigger penalties if they use them and were supposed to have surrendered them, but if someone is crazed that doesn’t matter to them.
