Ratfuckers
How bad of a suspended sentence will they get?
So, what excuses will they use? It would be great if they are actually punished but that’s not gonna happen…
Hopefully Judge Nolan doesn’t preside over this case.
No doubt will be released on bail before getting suspended sentence in a year’s time.
jealous of people making sarcastic “He plays GAA, judge” comments because I know for a fact they’ve never set foot in Ballyfermot. Must be nice.
She’s after losing sight in one of her eyes.
They should be tried as adults for grievous bodily harm.
I hope they throw the book at them but I do doubt it. Had my own let down with an abuser in the Irish courts.
I am glad they’ve been arrested though.
What happened to Alanna Quinn Idris and her companion is life changing and they deserve proper justice.

Had hurl, MUST be GAA player.
I mean, if it had been a baseball bat it’d be only fair to assume the attackers were what? NY Yankies players over on holiday ?
The Indo described the two arrested as ‘Two male adult teenagers’…. Typo, or possible that they are over 18 and could be named on conviction?
Suspended sentences due to a ‘tough upbringing’. Nothing will happen and no justice will be served.
Reinstate the death penalty.
If they’re 18/19, will their rat fucking names be made public?
Something something justice system circle jerk.
How long dya reckon before we get the “released without charge” headline and everyone goes nuts because they don’t understand how the system works?
I give it 12 hours.
I’m taking bets they get suspended sentences because their mammy says they are good lads.
I can guarantee they won’t even see a year in detention.
Only thing people can do is form our own gangs to watch the neighbourhood then see what happens to us when we cave some scrotes head in.
Pure scum, hope they get named and shamed.
Every suspended sentence, every slap on the wrist, every poor box donation brings communities one step closer to vigilantism.
Let’s hope that the judge in this case chooses to actually impose a sentence on a thug (if guilty).
Congratulations to the guards for their intrepid detective work in managing to find the attackers a mere week after they were told their names and where they live.
This whole thing has sickened me to my stomach.
A young girl now half blinded and god knows what other trauma she’ll suffer both physically and mentally for years to come.
If this continues and the perpetrators get off with a slap on the wrist it’s 100% guaranteed that people will take matters into their own hands.
How long before vigilante justice is normal.
Really hoping that the severity of the attacks and the massive publicity surrounding it will make the judges realise a severe sentence is warranted and wanted by the public and that the public are sick of these types of random violent attacks.
Eye for an eye.. literally! It’s the only language these scum fucks understand.
I too look forward to the inevitable suspended sentence
If they’re convicted they need to be named and shamed and have their photos plastered all over.
Same as the poor girl had her name, home address and photos all over.
We all know they will get away with it. The legal system exists to make money for itself, NOT to provide justice.
I’m sure all the lawyers involved will make a killing. That’s all that matters.
Was there any actual reason for this, or was it totally unprovoked random attack? Was it racially motivated.
Usually when I hear a story like this I assume it’s a drug debt or involved with someone with a drug debt
Whats the story with some people rationalising these peoples behavior or assuming theyre victims themselves and acting out before we know anything?
The lack of accountability in our society drives me up the wall. I expect it from the legal system at this point but I find it odd people wanting to understand these people like theyre complex or something rather than just shitty young men raised by shitty parents.
I feel like were getting very overcomplicated and overly intellectual over what should essentially be punishment ( getting these dangerous individuals off the street and detained either at juvenile or adult prison) and reforming them in prison (through therapy, creative outlets, education etc.
The difficulty reforming people in prison is another argument and an extremely difficult task.
But in my mind justice for the victim should come first and I think wed all feel the same if it was anyone we knew.
