I must add this has happened in every tiny village in Ireland. Where I live the population has grown by 30 percent and mostly asylum seekers. Everyone is tired unless you go to r/Ireland where if you have any opinion this you are deemed ”Far Right”
I love it! Ireland is primed and ready to receive those lucky enough to escape Palestine.

Have fun Irish voters.
It’s going to be interesting to see the pendulum swing in Ireland as it has in the rest of Europe, they seem to be some of the last pre-2015 mentality holdouts.

Dromahair appears on r/Europe.
Bots have jumped the shark.
Wait. A post about Isreal suggesting Europe take all of the Palestinian “refugees” from Gaza is off topic, but not this.

Kind of weird that Ireland seems to care more about Palestine than Ukraine. There’s a big war going on in Europe you know.
I sure this will work out swell.

Neoliberal capitalists love this
It baffles me how the anti Irish sentiment is allowed to persist in this sub but posts and comments in favour of Palestine are heavily moderated.
while I agree these cases are very unsettling, housing them in cities is expensive. Sucks for the villagers ofc, best would be something like a disused military base or goods depot where no people live.
Refugees from where?
4 staff members for 155 mostly young males? k..
Good on Ireland, once again proving to be a beacon of humanity
Ireland asked for this.
Hope allying with Palestine was worth the ruin of your nation!
I can’t imagine the locals will like that very much.
Big difference between Ireland and most other European countries is that we didn’t invade other countries and raid their natural resources to strengthen our own countries.Instead we had it done to us by the British. Also we didn’t start any wars with our neighbours leading to world wars.So maybe you should all think about that before whining about Irelands tax rules
Also a village of 100ish people getting 800 refugees further up the country. Pure insanity, the vast majority of us don’t want this at all
Like flies to shit, the right wingers in r/Europe arrive
Ireland is pretty fucked
I fucking hate this pink ass politics fuck them all
