Giving some additional context. The pub publicly posted on their page to say the statement from the musician was a lie and it didn’t happen like how he said.
They received further backlash on it.. and then posted publicly on his own Facebook page telling him they were sorry and they are trying to get in touch with him.
Grace is a staple of all musicians sets in pubs. Mad that you’d be told to stop singing that.
So we are not allowed to celebrate our heritage now eh wtf has this country become?
This must be embarrassing for all those people that were insulting the musician the other day on that thread saying he was telling lies lol

That owner was definitely on this sub complaining that no one likes to Wolfe Tones, despite them drawing the biggest crowd at ep and then selling out the 3 arena lol
Had this in a pub in sligo …sligo has fair slice of Well off English folks mind…the barman who told me not to play Grace as requested by the crowed as they cater to everyone I told him I played worse rebel songs in England
It’s more of a love song to me, but found it ridiculous

This incident shows how far the attack on celebrating nationalist and Republican heritage has gone.
If we are gonna ban Grace it should be at least because it’s crap.
