  1. It is predatory! I mean can you imagine buying endless amounts of “allegedly” top shelf products, just to have them all fall apart. He needs justice and this guy Zaslav is trying to get a tax break. Shame on executives for causing the man so much suffering after he finally got his case heard by a judge!

  2. WB is also owned by BlackRock and Vanguard. Animaniacs would have had a field day with Zaslav and these late-stage Capitalism antics.

  3. Not quite the same as a finished movie but my favourite show Final Space was written off as a tax write off. They had 3 seasons that aired and the creator (Olan Rogers) had a 6 season outline for how he wanted things to go. So those 3 seasons that were made are no longer available anywhere. The first two had physical media (dvd & blue ray) but the third was never published as physical media. That content is now just lost. Because they wrote it off they can’t make money off of it, so no streaming platform can carry it. The fan outcry led to WB letting Olan create a graphic novel to wrap up the story with a limited print release that he has to publish himself. I’m glad we get that closure but I would have preferred even for the original 3 seasons to be available, even if the show was cancelled. It’s just so disheartening. That show got me through a really tough time in my life.
