Zelensky on the assaults on Avdiivka: Putin wants at least some result before announcing elections

1. Definitely against Russia but they control quite a large chunk of ukranian territory and defensive lines dint seem to be faltering. That’s a pretty big result already.

3. What if Russia is defeated in all fronts, will Putin still announce the election?

4. Free attrition. Ukraine will start calling Avdiivka a fortress village that Russia will never take and Russia will fall for it hook, line and sinker. Smashing their military into Ukraine’s latest meat and metal grinder until Russia finds itself awkwardly short on troops and equipment again.

   Avdiivka might eventually fall but Ukraine will be smiling at the mound of Russian bodies and destroyed equipment when it does.

5. Zelensky aged 20 years in less than 5.

6. Why announce an election? Putin has already decided what the final tally is going to be.

7. An election which putin both runs and runs in, and “wins”. Can we just skip ahead? This show is boring.
