    According to Sky, an announcement will be made on Arnold’s future later on Wednesday.

    His departure comes as Manchester United prepare to confirm Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Sport buying a 25 per cent stake in the club.

    Bring in Blanc (marketing), Paul Mitchell (recruitment) and Brailsford (sports performance) and let’s hit the big reset button. But even then Utd will still need the glazers and debt fully removed before they can consider themselves a serious club again.
