Seemed more like a bad joke to formalize the same situation that’s led to a crisis of confidence for the American people. It still has no real enforcement mechanism and relies on self reporting.

When we have political ideology difference that make up the court…. How does the public fix the court?
Since the court is the court of “the people” that is suppose to honor The Constitution, why not create a list of “Ethics and Rules of Conduct” and have **the “GENERAL POPULATION TO VOTE” on what those Ethics and Rules of Conduct will be”.** (Actions by the Supreme Court affects “ALL” of America and “ALL” of the American People, therefore, the court should not be allowed to create its own Ethics and Rules of Conduct. *Let the people decide what those Ethics and Rules of Conduct is, by popular vote.*
Also, have within the referendum, including have the public vote on “**Term Limits**” for *Supreme Court Justices* and *Federal Court Justices*. and make the results and Amendment to The Constitution.
No One in any Government Capacity of any Government Entity should be given a lifetime appointment. 25 yr maximum term, and after their term, for the rest of their lives, they can be held to account for any irregularity or bias or ethical or rules violation they engaged or supported during their term. That means, they can’t escape prosecution for any wrong doings.
**Why is this necessary**. To avoid bias, self enrichment and any other ethical or rules violation which is beneficial to them, at the expense of nation and the nations people, that benefits them in any ways after their term expires. .
The code of ethics has a de-facto enforcement mechanism a 2/3rds vote of the senate and they now have outlined what would constitute a violation.
Ofc they’re not going to create some Trojan horse mechanism for democrats to be able to remove Supreme Court justice without the consent of both parties that would be dumb
