  2. Would have been highly symbolic to the Ruzzians to wrap that strap around the statues neck….HaHaHa!

  3. Probably would’ve been more satisfying for Alexander Pushkin to have had a short dialogue with Carl Gustav.

  4. Hope they replace it with a statue of Shevchenko. In a significant way, this war is between the culture of Alexander Pushkin, the father of the Russian language, and Taras Shevchenko, the father of the Ukrainian language. Pushkin celebrated Russian imperialism; Shevchenko condemned it. And while both are long dead, they are not forgotten. Even today, Russians use Pushkin to justify the invasion.

  5. It would be cool if they sold its remnants at auction to all fans of russian culture. And that money were sent to Ukrainian army.
