What is the point of this demonstration?
The Greek Cypriots voted against reunification in 2004 with 3/4 of their votes.
And that was at a time, when Erdogan was not treating northern Cyprus like a Turkish colony and more and more conservative Turks were coming to northern Cyprus from the mainland. And Tatar is continuing to drive forward the Turkification and Islamisation of northern Cyprus in line with Erdogan’s wishes.
