I will never understand why people feel pride in claiming their language is hard for foreigners.
I don’t think Bulgarian is harder than any other Indo-European language. The biggest problem, as already mentioned, is a lot of people (including in media) speak like cavemen after a stroke and put zero effort in pronounciation.
