actually that’s very smart marketing. the old bernabéu façade was iconic to spanish and some (idk even if most) football fans, but this new design (while obviously divisive) has a chance to become a much more familiar “brand”. its especially meaningful now that the stadium is expected to be hosting a lot more non-football events
