I know someone posted question a few weeks ago. But what is the craic with these lads? Does anyone definitively know whether you have to pay or not? Like is legal action or damaging my credit score scare tactics or fact? Anyone had any first hand experience? Thanks.

  1. Parking charge notice, throw it in the bin and ignore. Penalty charge notice however you do have to pay.

  2. Ignore and do t get I to contact with them. They will keep sending you letters but just ignore. Thry hsve no power here

  3. Where’s the Market Road car park in Omagh – is that at Dunnes?

  4. I’ve had a couple of these. Never responded. They send 3 or 4 letters with increasingly threatening tone. They go away eventually. They are private notices. Like if you parked on your neighbours driveway and they send you a ticket. Does not effect your credit rating unless it goes to court and you get a ccj against your name. This never happens in practice because it costs the company money to proceed to court. And if in the highly likely event it were to proceed you could just pay the fine.
