  2. Addicts will always find a source, and in the Russian army there’s always gonna be someone willing to supply as well. Only problem? You aren’t exactly gonna find quality shit on the front lines if the army as a whole can’t even supply its troops with food and ammo. Not to mention that “quality” in Russia is relative as it is.

  3. How do we know it’s an addict and not TBI or psychiatric disease (untreated)? Honest question if we only have what a Russian caption says or if there’s legit proof otherwise?

    Drug addicts and criminals are the unwanted elements in society. Hence, sending them to the front is a good idea: they might accomplish something (if only making the enemy spend ammo, or detonating mines), and if they don’t survive, they are no loss.

    Brutality is rampant in the Russian army, brutality is a central trait of Russian society. Nobody has any qualms treating addicts in this way (or worse): they are used to it, addicts are bootomfeeders in this system, they are loathed and looked down upon.

    Apparently “Humanity” is an unknown concept to the Russian military – one might understand easier what happened in Bucha: if the russian military behaves like this amongst themselves…

  22. Drug abuse has always been a common thing among soldiers of any army. Be it alcohol, nicotine, sex, heroin, gras, whatever.
    Which is not surprising, given the trauma they have to endure.

  24. Hes wearing sneakers, and not even the good kind—the “wear on the treadmill” kind. I feel bad for this guy, if he is a drug addict he was most likely dealt a very shitty hand in life and his story will most likely end with his own country men murdering him. Very tragic, both sides have victims and we have only one man and his corrupt cronies to blame. 4 years ago this could of been some guy hacking our Call of Duty lobbies, but now he is just a dead man. What a tragedy of life this war will be remembered for.
