This is the usual answer that i got.
Also our teacher doesn’t even do shit.. he just doodles around and doesn’t even care if we learn or not. We kept complaining about him, especially after calling a student gay. Our school doesn’t care. My teacher even says none of us will get a job after we graduate and practically told us we can copy all from google, classmates, chatGPT, he doesn’t care.
I don’t even care anymore, who the hell decided to make software development a major in a scrubby vocational school when it doesn’t even offer good education here, unless you go to yliopisto or AMK.

That’s vocational school alright. For software development it is specially difficult because you are competing with bachelors and masters for same jobs.
It is more important what you do outside of the school. Star collecting your (GitHub) portfolio.
Is this same account who just some time ago had a rant saying why the f do i need to study on my own time if i want a job on IT?
It’s insane – you should have an internship to learn but they expect that you work as any other employee, usually with no or very little salary. It’s quite rare to see employers who have realized the real meaning of internship/traineeship: it is a place of learning and developing skills. They should look for potential in internships and guide them. Internships should not be free or cheap labor, the low salary should be compensated by low expectations and strong support throughout the internship. If they want ”strong skills and experience”, they should just open a normal recruitment and paying for that skill and experience.
Vocational school IT gets you a job at Gigantti or Power at best, lol
skill issue. also your attitude isn’t really inline with Finnish work ethics. First fix yourself then try to fix the world around you.
