Many people who now have student loans and will struggle to find a job to pay them back could consider a career change; get into the “trades” and start making money. It’s hard to find electricians, plumbers and other contractors these days. Chances are good there would be on the job training available as an apprentice. Just a thought from someone who flipped careers along the way.
They shouldn’t have gotten into debt! The lack of financial literacy in our youth is unfortunate!

Let them default on debt and declare bankruptcy.
This will let them downgrade to a more modest lifestyle.
Once they leave that expensive home and that new car js repod they can focus on paying back their student loans (since they cant get out of them)
