How can they possibly get tanks and heavy equipment across , while under Russian fire the whole time ?
Ferrying a few hundred special ops forces over there in the middle of the night for a surprise attack is one thing . But moving thousands of troops , supplies, and equipment is another .
Fcking dumb media. A few weeks ago, the “counteroffensive failed” and “is stalled” and now Ukraine “outflanks Russian troops”. Trust Ukraine’s armed forces, they know what they’re doing and they’re not simply wasting the lives of their troops to create action for the sake of the media.
The AFU has asked people not to talk about what’s going on around Kherson.
The byline of the article “The Ukrainian forces have long established positions in several areas on the eastern bank of the Dnieper and sought to expand them, using boats to ferry supplies” is a much more accurate description of the current state of things.
“major step” is misleading. Yes, it’s significant, but it’s been developing for months.
