The way we treat our planet is pretty horrendous when “cattle that eat grass” is seen as noteworthy.
A propaganda success for Big Beef and Milk .
Will the word sustainable just be slapped on the front as well?
This is great
About time. When you see cattle that are indoors in industrial style farms elsewhere, you can really appreciate that there is a big difference.
Champagne Cattle.
Wagyu beef ❌
Magoo beef ✅
It really should, best beef in the world.
Is Irish grass supposed to be better than other grass?
I wonder will zero grazing systems be considered grass-fed?
Does this mean we’re going to start paying more for it? Sorry to be a moaning Michael
Yeah beef is great and all but have you ever tried a labrador steak? Hopefully dog meat will get the same recognition in coming years.

Just a thought.. why can’t we as a nation start producing farmed products, meat, veg and dairy as eco-friendly/organic as we can.
It would take time and big government support but we could do it.
I was in malta recently and was offered USADA beef, which was described as being the best quality of beef available by the waiter. It physically hurt.
“Protected status”.
Can’t wait to see Mattie McGrath and Danny Healy Rae passionately argue in the Dail that this means the greens can’t try to reduce the size of the national herd. There’ll be no convincing them that protection doesn’t mean what they think it means.
