  1. This was pretty wild to hear live. I couldn’t believe it. The order is being approved, I think.

  2. It’s not suspicious at all that confidential evidence was release to only one media outlet.

  3. > In being transparent with the court, and to make sure that nobody else gets blamed for what happened, and so I can go to sleep well tonight, judge, I did release those videos to one outlet. And in all candor to the court, I need the court to know that,” said Jonathan Miller, an attorney for former Coffee County election supervisor Misty Hampton.

Funny how court proceedings have a way of getting the truth out. I think we’ll see in the upcoming months that there are exceedingly few people willing to lie and cheat for Trump *in court.* They’ll continue to lie their asses off to the media, but how many will really stick their neck out for him when it matters?

  4. So they are going for the mistrial route. That’s the only move these lawyers have.

  5. Obstruction of justice? Tampering with evidence? Can we get any consequences please?

  6. Now the only question is who told him to release it. Of course there’s only one answer but even that wouldn’t put his orange ass in jail.

  7. “The boss wants you to leak it. Don’t worry, if you end up being disbarred, our friends at Fox have a well paid lifetime gig waiting for you.”

Edit: “And the RNC will fund your campaign for a congressional seat.”

  8. There’s absolutely no chance that this wasn’t directed by the legal teams of a higher-profile co-defendant, right?

Really seems like this guy is just falling on his sword for someone else.

  9. Well, if anybody gets harassed or worse, I hope this lawyer can be brought up on charges for facilitating it.

  10. So was his client not offered or interested in a plea deal? What about the video would benefit his client? It didn’t seem to be too heavy handed by the DA—so this idea of “forcing” someone to take a deal (like Powell has asserted) isn’t supported as far as I can tell.

  11. Dear Judges and Prosecutors,

When you share sensitive info with 15 attorneys, make small changes in each version so you can identify the leaker.

  12. MAGA World, “They got to him somehow. We all know it was the prosecutor that leaked it. The Deep State got to him. That has to be it.”

  13. Was the leak illegal? If so, simply disbar this guy (for starters).

  14. Why is court video evidence not watermarked into oblivion by attorney ID or something? If Hollywood studios can watermark DVD screeners, surely justice systems can as well?

  15. So can this attorney be punished for this? Sounds like he broke ethical standards in leaking the video.

  16. The leaked video doesn’t help his client, Hampton, at all. (Hampton is charged with being part of a conspiracy to tamper with voting machines in Coffee County; none of the plea deal discussions indicate he’s any less guilty than the others.)

This was leaked for witness intimidation. Full stop.

  17. The expression on that Judge’s face is not one you want to have caused.

  18. Every day they they aren’t punished, the rule of law erodes.
