I’m Lebanese and I find it shameful someone here killed an Irishman an will probably get away with it. One of the few countries that actually has had our back. Damn shame.

Best thing to do is for Ireland to withdraw all our peacekeepers from the area, let the place rot.

We have 300 soldiers stationed there for peacekeeping we should send them back home if Lebanon does this shit

Absolutely disgusting! Just to be clear, this is not reflective of all Lebanese people. The government has been taken over by a terrorist group called Hezbollah and the suspect would have been a part of or affiliated with that group. Rip to the Irish soldier.
Lebanese here, most people find this very disgusting. Unfortunately, with a government run by corrupt crooks, there is not much we can do. Beirut was wiped out in the explosion and yet they found a way to silence the people and not jail anyone, we have lost hope.
