[Respondents were asked the question: “What, in your opinion, should the government do regarding the right to abortion?”](https://wiadomosci.onet.pl/kraj/co-polacy-mysla-o-aborcji-wyniki-sa-jasne-sondaz/vzpelb9). The results turned out really interesting:
* Introduce legal abortion up to the 12th week of pregnancy regardless of the circumstances — 34.7%
* Return to the abortion compromise from before 2020 — 20.8%
* Organize a referendum on abortion — 12.5%
* Ensure that helping with abortion is not punishable — 9.4%
* Completely ban abortion regardless of the circumstances — 9%
* Leave the current legal state unchanged — 8.9%
* I have no opinion — 4.8%
Supporters of the current parliamentary majority primarily advocate for legal abortion up to the 12th week of pregnancy regardless of the circumstances (60%). The next most popular option in this group is a return to the compromise prior to 2020.
Among the voters of Law and Justice (PiS), 36% support various proposals for liberalization (!!!), and 28% want to maintain the current legal state.
