Are they trying to insinuate that weed drove this guy mad?
Literal reefer madness.
Well nobody forced him to take any substance so he is still guilty in my eyes.
This article is so confusing. So he has schizophrenia but the psych said he doesn’t need to be medicated, and this incident wasn’t related to his mental illness but to a week long withdrawal from using cannabis?
Spice and the like is known for making people go crazy, wouldn’t shock me to find it’s involvement.
People are saying it’s in edibles and the vapes u can buy from the street.
Legal highs at one stage 😬
My god. The anti cannabis brigade out today.
Perhaps the episode was triggered by synthetic cannabinoids sprayed on his weed? We’ll never know what caused the issue because we leave the supply at the hands of criminal gangs. Of course, it would be too much work for Irish journalists to ask this very simple question. It’s much easier to do fuck all and continue muddying the waters.
If only we could source and test exactly what he took. You know, which probably would have been possible through a regulated market. But no, it’s whatever bag of shite his dealer was able to get at the time, which is likely all gone now. So let’s just say “weed did this” and keep washing our hands of the whole affair. Now, who wants pints?
Alcohol is not an excuse. No drugs should be.
The toxicology report showed no drugs in his system. Crazy decision
