This was always coming. Spain especially would benefit from scrapping this.

So, the demographic that inched us into Brexit and all the shit it brought gets to avoid the smallest of Brexit consequences while everyone else back home continues to get shafted. Nice.

Imagine being a country but can’t control who stays in it and for how long.
I’m sure this story crops every 3 months. Probably whenever some journalist realises he’s got to return to blighty.
Seems like a good idea though. Id vote for 270 days per calendar year, because the rolling 90/180 days is bloody complicated to keep track of if you’re a regular visitor. Obviously you still need some sort of control of who resides in your country.
Just make a deal with the EU so we have some sort of visa rights beyond a 3rd country, idk why we’re so opposed.
It’s an improvement but it doesn’t go far enough. It’s more aimed at property owners and tourists, it won’t allow us to work without a visa and getting one inside the eu is next to impossible unless you’re a professional with 10 years experience and have a very specific gap to fill in the job market that nobody else can do
