So yeah, he should have swapped the sim, nothing can be said about that – however 6GB of data costing £11,000 is the bigger scandal here IMO, how the fuck is that allowed?
Thats like a couple of Netflix episodes, should be a pretty easy explanation.
Originally i thought the bloke had been downloading a shit ton of stuff to rack up and 11 grand bill.
Folks should be all over EE for charging that much in the first place.

I don’t think you understand the scandal. It isn’t the 11k that is important, it is the fact that he claimed it was work-related data usage and had the tax payer pay for it initially, only paying it back when he got caught out 10 months later.
Obviously, that’s EE’s fault.
