Wife giving birth is one of the few really important and powerful things a man can experience in his life. What is he even doing there faffing with the nationals. Go home and enjoy love, the absolute divinity.
Also hope he just faked the flu with a pack of red Marlboros overnight sounding like a fucking wookiee on purpose. Cause why not!
