  18. This post made me so so so happy after having spent the last 183 consecutive days reading this every single night, twice over.

  19. I went to see a stage show of The Gruffalo quite a few years ago now, when my daughter was young. Where we were seating there was a nice wide walk way in front of us, lots of legrooms. Anyway, during the show, the Gruffalo comes into the audience, and along his walk way. I was wearing a cap at the time, and he only went and stole it from me, put it on and went back to the stage. Well, my daughter, probably no older than 5 or 6 absolutely LOVED this and couldn’t stop laughing until the intermission where someone (I guess someone backstage) brought it back to me. It was great fun!

  21. Is that near Guildford? We went on one of those gruffalo trails in a woods near there. For some reason my mother in law thought the gruffalo was a real creature, but that meerkats were made up for the ads
