  1. Thank you for protecting me from wrongist thoughts, client journalists.

  2. What do you mean that just flattening it down to “terriorism bad who do it because they are baddies” is a hilarious oversimplification that contributes nothing to fixing anything?

Cause yeah, that letters filled with some pretty bad stuff, but theres also plenty there there thats not wrong. Does it justify Al-Qaeda? Of course not.

But erasing the letter and simplifying it to “arabs bad” then leads to what we see on tik-tok; where people see it, get hit by the whiplash of “oh we’ve been lied to and he does have some points” and now it gets fucking messy. Cause that feeling of being duped makes people even less sympathetic to those who obfuscate or lie.

Cause 99% of the time with this stuff its not *really* religion or “they are less smart”, its material circumstances; which are more often than not caused by “the west”. And sadly its much easier to engage with the ideas of “radical people want our freedom” over “Cheap plastic crap for us has caused desolation in MENA”. Yes The letters dripping with the idea that its all ordained by god and that we must all convert; but the core still is “you stole our land, our resources and our lives”.

Does that excuse Al-qaeda? Of course not. But it does place a burden on us that reductionist history doesnt.

  3. Honestly I thought it was basically similar to the autobiography of the German with the toothbrush mustache and got torn down because of blatant plagiarism.

The content is nothing original or surprising at all and it’s pretty much what you expect. It basically boils down to “my book is more true than your book so obey me”.

  4. Anti-jewish nonsense. No surprise that the Guardian had it online, and no surprise that they now removed it.

  5. “The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam”

Nah bro I’m good. Contemporary sharia law calls for me to die and the followers of Islam have killed others, on video, for that statement. The justification of which is outlined in the first paragraph of this letter.

Make no mistake we (USA) are and have been at war for years defending against overt and covert attacks, domestic and foreign, on us due to our lack of “faith in the one true god” insert your god name here

As far as Israel goes, that shit has been going on for THOUSANDS of years. BL Just brings up the talking points that support his argument.

Fuck this guy and fuck anyone who buys his bs

  6. There’s also a very funny Independent article from December 2000 calling Bin Laden a ‘anti soviet freedom fighter’ – and framing him as a hero. Lol

  7. They probably removed it after realising that many people here actually believe that stuff. We have thousands of jihadis in our midst, but pointing that out or trying to do something about it will only get you called racist, fascist or far right.welcome in the new Sharia Britain or be an evil nazi!

  8. you could dig up a quote of Hitler saying america bad and idiots on the internet would start calling him misunderstood lol

  9. I find it interesting that many people are shocked to discover that Bin Laden had reasons for doing what he did — twisted, wrongheaded, and unjustifiable reasons yes, but reasons all the same.

It’s as if people believe our enemies are just driven by pure evil and hate the West for no reason at all like cartoon characters.

  10. “You might have thought that the minds of America’s young people would not be so malleable that they could perceive one of the most notorious mass murderers of Americans in history as a justifiable critic of American policies, but here we are.” – Jim Geraghty

  11. Not surprising, tankies will soon start calling him a hero and 9/11 was based or something

  12. Now we’ll *never know* what was in that letter. Tsk.

    Checkmate Guardian. Well, played.

  13. Such a shame. He was obviously quite mad but, even in his madness, made some good points about how the US has killed hundreds of thousands by its actions. It’s hardly surprising that people in that region coalesced around him especially after the US itself promoting and assisting him in Afghanistan when the Russians were being forced out.

But I don’t understand why it was taken down. It’s nothing new..

  14. The clips of people agreeing with him 🥴Imagine backing bin laden whilst living in the west in 2023

TikTok has created a generation of morons who can’t see that they’d be first to be offed by him and his ilk

  15. You have to pick a side and sorry bin laden mine is with my fellow Englishmen just like yours is with the Muslims

  16. Just saw this on the Daily Mail the world has gone mad this is the beginning of the end too many dumb kids about

  17. It’s been deleted??

Who did he say controls the media again? 🤔
