I enjoy the Impossible Burger, but it’s too expensive, and still not widely available in grocery stores where I live. It may be in a catch-22, where more people would buy it if it was less expensive, but it will only become less expensive if more people buy it.
All meat is plant-based. Oh, you mean a product made from plants that simulates meat.
Why not just grow meat cells in a culture?
A better option is to eat a plant based diet. Instead of pouring all the extra energy into transforming a pea into a burger, just eat the pea.
But people won’t eat less meat when their doctors tell them they need to improve their health. They’re not going to eat less meat to save the world.
About half my diet is vegetarian these days. Cooked vegetables and tofu taste better than fake-meat and I wish companies would focus more on offering interesting variations of those.
