2. TIL a BMP is sort of a low grade tank from the 1960s through 80s, lightly armored, with a 73mm gun that can’t rotate through the 10-o’clock position because it runs into a hull-mounted searchlight. For added fun the ammo is stored in the crew compartment. Outdated engineering even for Ruzzians.
