Rory Jennings says Stones is Englands most important player

It’s a bit of a shit video because the guests chat so much shit, but I think it’s an interesting question – who would England miss the most if they were out for the Euros next year? Finally a decent take from Rory and the rest of the guests are disagreeing, I get that Bellingham is also world class and probably a better player, and putting him first is understandable, but the disrespect to John Stones in this video is unreal. I hear far too often that, just because he’s good enough to come into midfield in possession, that Stones isn’t good defensively, the people who say this clearly haven’t been watching football or just hate city and can’t see past their bias. I have to agree that the replacements for Jude (Maddison, Foden, even Grealish or Mount) are much less of a drop off than the gap in quality between a defense with Stones in it and one without for England – curious to hear other city fans’ thoughts.
