  1. I’m just gonna say it. I feel like I could learn that faster.

  2. Man, why didn’t they name this movie anything but Maestro? I seriously can’t stop thinking of that Seinfeld episode every time I see this title. I’m not even trolling.

If they call Cooper’s character Maestro in the movie, I would absolutely lose it lol

  3. I know people are hating. But I’m legitimately excited to see this.

  4. How did something think that an obscure conductor no has heard of would make for a great movie?

  5. I like that he put in this much effort, unlike those that say they did research into their role by working a single 4-hour shift of that job. Not calling anyone out specifically.

  6. So… just copy what the conductor is doing…?

I’ve been playing music for 11 years and I don’t know anything about conducting an orchestra.

But I could probably figure it out within a year or less

  7. How hard is it to menacingly wave your arms around like Harry Potter? /s

  8. Was he putting in 40 hour weeks on this? Seems like a relevant detail.

  9. I hate these fucking Oscar campaigning headlines its SO TIRED. it literally makes me not want to watch the movie. Last year’s “Brendan fraiser fat suit” pr cycle literally made me not watch the movie out of annoyance. I look at it from time to time and just get pissed off lol.

  10. Fucking vanity project. Smug prick can get fucked

  11. This is one of those way-overstated actors preparing for roles brags. You’re dedicated to your craft. We get it.

  12. He must know how brutally critical classical musicians can be lol

  13. To be fair, [this is the exact scene](https://youtu.be/eifZHwQ9jUI?si=xkEl2NIGgo2OVVOY) he is trying to replicate.

This whole concert was shot beautifully and I would highly recommend a watch, even if you are not a fan of classical music. Lenny bursting out in excitement at the end always goes so hard. He was so expressive.

  14. That’s like how Ralph Macchio learned how to look like he was playing guitar in crossroads.

  15. Terrified? Rightly so when you’re getting into something that deep without knowing what the fuck you’re doing.

  16. Quoting Laurence Olivier: “my dear boy, have you tried acting?”
