When we permit a significant number of Muslims to enter the country and let woke culture shape our education, these are the results.
Something is really wrong with Western academia. This needs to stop. All that “woke” nonsense needs to be wiped out. Of course, European imperialism was bad and it has been rightfully condemned. No one is advocating for its return. However, Western values and its achievements are something to be celebrated and preserved. Freedom, rule of law, human rights(as we know it) and democracy are Western products and they spread thanks to Western might. South Korea became a democracy thanks to American & European pressure. In fact, it was the CIA itself which saved the life of a prominent human rights activist during the 1970s. His name was Kim Dae Jung and he was later elected as the president of my country. So Western power sometimes helped important individuals who were crucial in the history of other nations. Students in the West should have a more nuanced perception of their own history and salvage the best part of it.
If these academics stop getting funded for research projects that are for the most part valueless, you’d see less of these nutcase academics about.

I don’t get it though. People think voting far right will fix this but the far right hates the jews more than anyone else. Also wasn’t the right-wing that opened the borders to all these imigrants because it benefits big companies and is bad for unions/workers rights?
Antisemitism is on the rise? I don’t think it is. I think anti zionism is on the rise, as it absolutely should be.
Edit* someone getting butthurt? Oh dear.
Lmao I’m sure the Palestinian children your people bombed to pieces would have something nice to say about that.
Fcking spoiled brats
Oh look. It’s another “criticism of Israel is antisemitic” whine. I shouldn’t be surprised though, they always do that. “If you don’t support the genocide in Palestine then you hate Jews.” If Israeli nationals really have a problem with the backlash from their governments actions then instead of crying about “antisemitism” how about changing their government? They’re a “democracy” right? So the state represents the will of the people. Right? Or maybe they ain’t a democracy, not in the normal sense anyway.
Are we talking about actual discrimination, or about people who don’t embrace Israel’s PoV about the ongoing conflict ?

Because, what passes as academia these days in the West, see Jews too “white” and too western and therefore they are seen as permanent oppressors. When you add the rapidly declining quality of education, a radical far-left populism infecting all leading institutions of Western societies to the mix, you get a growing far-left antisemitism. Just to clarify, I am not saying Jews are white. I don’t find the term “white” to be particularly meaningful but these people see Jews as “white westerners” and therefore the oppressors.
Harassing jewish students, threatening them with death, spraying swastikas or stars of David in Synagogues and so on is anti-semitism. These students have nothing to do with an event happening thousand miles away. But this is what is happening in Europe and that is pure barbarity and must be condemned.
On the other hand, there is already a plethora of criticism against Israel left and right from many respectable people. They are not anti-semites. Their criticism is fair and balanced. However, it is quite shocking that there are tons of people who believe that criticizing Israel is forbidden or made a taboo.
Is it though? Or are these just people who think every human life has value?
I mean I’ve been called an antisemite for saying Israel might be bombing too many apartment buildings. People seem to mistake an ethnicity/religion with a state actor more than they should be.
What a partial, biased, misinformed and misinforming article. I am sure those who authored it are well-intended and neutral vis-a-vis the topic at hand /s
Maybe the author would like to comment on the “transfer policy” (some reading here: [https://www.jstor.org/stable/2537340](https://www.jstor.org/stable/2537340)- you can see the abstract/1st page at least). Or about the “1969 Paraguay Plan” (clearly a plan not at all inspired by the Nazi Madagascar Plan) or about the multiple recent declarations of high ranking army or politicians in Israel that 1) they want all the arab citizens in gaza dead or gone and 2) they admitted bombing civilian target knowingly and perfect aware that those targets were packed with civilians.
Let me tell you that the vast majority of those who speak against Israel, do it with regards to the crimes against humanity and the illegal occupation of the palestinian territories as per international laws and treaties. They are not against the existence of an Israeli state but against the brutal killing of 15000 civilians (and counting; plus some 50k since the 50’s, plus displacing of 0.7 + 1.5 millions, plus destroying of their homes) and against the cynical disinformation IDF and Israel are engaged into (see the fake evidence of Hamas in hospital basement, fake declaration about beheaded children etc etc)
Victimhood culture where being oppressed automatically makes you right.
Say it louder for the ones in the back FUCK ISRAEL
Many Jewish people are insistent on identifying with Israel until its inconvenient. All the reports of deaths in Israel were reported as deaths of Jews, the massacre was described as the biggest murdering *of Jews* since the Holocaust, even though many non Jews lost their lives. Jewish people play a large part in the conflation of Israel = Jewish, and only start piping up with “Jewish people are not the Israeli government” when the Israeli government does something shitty. I think you cant really have it both ways. I wouldnt be surprised if people started targeting Chinese people when the Chinese government does something shitty (Covid, anyone?). Its not exclusive to Jews.
there’s an old saying
‘*the squeaky wheel gets the grease*’
some people know and master that idea all too well
Unfortunately, people confuse Judaism with Zionism. I know many Jews that oppose the genocide and ethnic cleansing Israel is committing, but they still get a lot of hate because people don’t seem to be able to distinguish those two.
We’ve been trying to say British academia is completely infested with far-left tankies for ages… but it constantly gets ridiculed as some kind of “far right conspiracy theory”.
Apparently approaching a brown religious people around the world to ask them to condemn Hamas (that has likely nothing to do with them) otherwise calling them terrorist sympathisers is a-ok, however asking a white religious group around the world the same question for Israel actions is AS?
Association by religion shouldn’t be a thing, but everyone was happy with it then so why not now?
Is it because Hierarchies of racism exist, and Muslims are clearly down in the pecking order of things before people scream racism.
Personally I disliked the ‘do you condemn’ else ‘terrorist sympathiser’ shit, and placed a lot of pressure and fear on a lot of innocent people for no other reason than to antagonise.
However if you endorsed this as a tactic back then you should be fine with it now.
And you don’t think anti-muslim graffiti exists? Islamophobic attacks are on the rise too.
But go ahead and apply the hierarchy.l because that’s 100% the problem.
It’s my view that neither group should be heckled for shit that’s happening thousands of miles away, and i dislike sucking British communities being dragged into the war simply by religious association.
Pro-Israel crowd pretending to be victims again while in reality Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, killing thousands of innocent children. People who still support Israel are the real problem.

‘cos it’s riddled with tankies.
