Trump must be stopped. Period. He’s mentally and morally unfit to hold office and there’s more than enough evidence of criminal intent in numerous cases to warrant disqualification.

I must be confused. Trump screamed “Presidential Records Act” and said that justified him keeping the records. It doesn’t.
Still, shouldn’t he be screaming the same thing about Biden? If he was thinking logically *(clearly, he’s never done so*) he’d realize that setting a precedent with another president would help his case.
Instead, he’s trying to take Biden down for having classified docs? What a fucking moron.
And of course, there’s also the fact that Biden returned the records ~~when asked to do so~~ of his own accord.
This is what I have been saying everytime it comes up.
The law treated Biden, Pence and Trump exactly the same. They all had documents they weren’t supposed to have, Pence and Biden returned all of them immediately once asked (or upon realizing he had them in Biden’s case.) and that was the end of it for them.
Trump deflected, stonewalled, and then returned a fraction of documents he had. None of the documents he actually returned are being used in the indictment, just the stuff the FBI found AFTER his lawyer submitted a sworn statement he had returned everything
No Trump was not “schooled”. He doesn’t learn and doesn’t believe n the law.
This is an interesting example of a fundamental different way of reasoning at play here.
Trump, Team Trump and MAGA in general have shifted into a tribalistic morality. To them, “fairness” is defined quite differently. For many, and our legal system in general, fairness would revolve around the concepts of justice being blind and equal actions receiving equal consequences. For MAGA, however, fairness is determined by measuring the outcomes relative to some class or distinction. That would mean it’s only fair of Democratic people and Republican people received the same treatment based *solely* on that distinction.
Even here, this is usually completely disingenuous and their reasoning is extraordinarily fluid since they don’t even value that sort of fairness. It’s only trotted out to defend their behavior and the behavior of their idols.
As pointed out here, if you just look at the behavior of Trump and of Biden regarding the issue at hand there is no reason to be amazed at the different outcomes.
For a fake news agency, he sure is giving them a lot of credit. If it was so fake and he was soooo innocent, maybe he wouldn’t be pouting on his failing social media platform so much about it. Talk about projecting.

The crime wasn’t taking the documents. The crime was lying about having them, and then refusing to turn them over when subpoenaed.
Hey trumpy, remember when they asked for the documents back and you said you returned everything, then even had your lawyers sign a letter saying everything was returned, but then the FBI raided your houses and found troves of more classified documents? And then the reporters you showed classified Iran documents played the recording of you holding onto the document you said you didn’t have?

So this guy, trump, wants desperately to be president again so he can avoid any kind of legal action against him, but he’s upset that the current president isn’t having charges filed against him.

I would also add that far from being exempt from legal action, presidents and other elected officials should be held to the highest standards.
Despite being “fake” news, he stills gets his intel from these “fake” sources. You’d think he’d just be quoting his legit sources by now.

And Biden didn’t intentionally steal them to use for malicious intent and with reckless regard to national security
