Can someone help me read this street name? It’s supposed to be in 93047 Rgbg (Regensburg) Long story short I sold my car to someone and he didn’t de-register it and now I’m in hell trying to read his name and address for the selling contract to give it to the register office

  1. If you want to do a “Zwangsstilllegung” the name of the new owner and a copy of the contract should be enough for them.

EDIT: Also inform your insurance about this.

  2. I live near Regensburg and my best guess would be “Kumpfmühler Str. 8” Maybe this helps. All the best!

  3. the first part looks crossed out

the last part looks like “st. 8”

st. is probably short for “straße”

and 8 is the house number

but i have no idea about the middle

  4. My greatest hope is you’ve already deposited the full amount of the sale price into your account.

  5. to me it looks more like this person recently moved and started with the old address first – crossed it out – and restarted with the new address

as the 2nd letter of the middle word doesn’t make sense to be a P it can be assumed to be a F – and by how german language works the one in front of it has to be a P – so it’s PF

the next one could be a possible ü – but the only street starting with P F umlaut in entire regensburg is Pfälzer Str. – which doesn’t match the following S-somthing

if the first start isn’t crossed out I have a really hard time to get what it’s meant to be – the first could be an A or a D … or even a T with another letter … it’s really weird written and it looks like started from bottom upwards – then a bit down and then to the right before what ever comes right to it was even there – which makes the 2nd letter even harder … but even then the next two … i and another i and … nothing? it just looks incomplete and doesn’t make any sense

I won’T say you got scammed – but even crunching google I wasn’T able to find any address with P F Ü in entire regensburg – let alone what the stuff after the S(?) is meant to be – are you sure it’S in 93047 Regenburg?

    lessons learnt:

    a) don’t sell anything registered to you without de-register it yourself before selling it

    b) always make sure you can read all data before putting a signature – and make sure afterwards that what ever the signature looks like at least somewhat ends up in the name – otherwise refuse/reject and set up a new one
