Penovani is the first I have ever tried and still remains the best, in my opinion
I really need to visit Georgia one day. Seems like such a beautiful country.
At my local Armenian neighborhood in the states we make the Adjarian version a lot and I love it. Georgian food always very good. Thank you neighbors.
The Ossetian one is amazing. Had some delivered when I was in Moscow.
And this is why Georgian owned pizza places are sooooo good. They just get it.
Only know Adjarian but it was good!
I’ve heard really good things about Georgian cuisine! Would definitely like to visit the country someday!
The ossetian one, but with an egg in the middle would be dope.
Adjarian is awesome. Not too hard to make yourself as well.
Imeruli for me. Adjar is good when you’re with a load of friends for the first time.
anyone has some good recipes for khachapuri? it looks really good and i kinda want to try it out one day
Imeruli??
Sulguni??
Second one with also butter melting on top is a known dish (Blacksea Pide) in Turkey too. Too heavy for my liking.
I don’t even know wtf this is
Adjarian all day, every day. Break off that tip and stir the egg into the cheese… I miss Georgia. I also miss tarragon flavored soda.
Wow that looks incredibly tasty
You’re not fooling me, Necron Night Scythe.
I spent a week in Georgia and I miss it so much. Food, wine, landscape , people. It’s got it all.
This seems familiar
Mňam dal bych si to druhé, smaženou kundu
Best food. But if you’re not in Georgia/Ukraine, do ask what cheese they put in there. If its not suluguni/imeruli – run as fast as you can.
Just got married in Georgia to my Russian wife last week. Georgian food is hard to come by in Ireland but God damn was I in paradise eating my kharcho, khinkali and khachapuri in Kazbegi. One of the best cuisines in the world, eating it at the most beautiful picturesque view with the most beautiful woman in the world.
Fuck your zodiac sign which one of these do you prefer?
Number 2 looks phenomenal
Adjarian looks like the typical pide we make in turkey
I have a Georgian bakery near-ish my flat and I buy bread and/or lavash there like half the time (and some khachapuri for dinner every now and again).
The baked goods are just fantastic, the bread very slightly different than polish bread and stays fresh for a ~day longer. Prices super reasonable as well.
There’s several more Georgian bakeries in my city; I haven’t checked out all of them, but all of the ones I’ve checked out were good. Strongly recommend checking if there’s one where you live.
Its like turkish pide especially the adjara one probably they influenced each other
Adjarian is overrated.
When I visited, they gave me khachapuri at almost every meal. No wonder there were so many fat people in georgia. Beautiful country and friendly people though
Is there a stuffed-crust variety?
I like the idea of topping one with an egg-and-cheese mixture, or a potato-and-cheese mixture. But I like the idea of topping one with an egg-and-potato-and-cheese mixture even more.
There are more varieties of Khachapuri. for example, Kubdari or Achma. even Lobiani can be considered as Khachapuri.
South Ossetia does not exist. It’s called Shida Kartli.
