‘There’s nothing to celebrate about his involvement in criminality’ – friends of prolific burglar pay tribute to his crimes after death

  1. He was only terrorising people due to his cannabis addiction. The 200 previous convictions are moot as he once spoke to someone who said they played GAA

  2. >The tributes echoed those for Tallaght man Dean Maguire (29) who died along with two other men when their car drove the wrong way down the N7 last year and collided with a truck.

    >His funeral made headlines when **offerings praising Maguire for his burglary skills- including a screwdriver and torch- were brought to the altar as gifts.**

nothing as tacky as that this time around, i hope

  3. His family members posts aren’t hard to find, they are certainly an interesting bunch, they had a cardboard cut out of him at his own funeral.

  4. “He had previously received a suspended sentence in 2017 over a violent incident in Limerick during which sinister threats were made to a woman and her car damaged.”

So he got 4 more years of violence in before he met his end thanks to this. Is there any info about how he died?

  5. Not to generalise too much but when you see his background and hear “sudden death” your mind goes to drugs..
