Scottish Conservatives face general election wipeout in wake of Christmas party scandal, poll shows

  1. Hopefully this holds. We need to make a recovery in Scotland to maintain a unionist centre-left voice, but also on an electoral basis.

If we can pull off a 2017 style recovery akin to the Tories, where they came out of nowhere and won like 13 seats up there, I’d be proper chuffed with that. We’re long overdue to become the force once again in Scotland, good af poll.

  2. > The Tories would fail to hold a single seat

Not only would that be so beautiful but watching that brain dead fucking idiot Red Card Dross on TV trying to explain it away the next day would be the best 15 minutes of comedy of the year.

  3. Imagine how different life would be if the centre left parties had combined forces from 2010 onwards. No Tory governments at all

Instead the fight continues to work together to win elections and the left are fighting amongst themselves.

What if Scottish labour said they’d hold a second referendum on Scottish independence and said they’d only put candidates up in strategic locations like the brexit party and tories did.

The conservatives would be wiped out.
What if the Lib Dems and labour did the same in England?
    The conservatives would lose.

Surely that’s better than having any sort of conservative government
