Not really surprising at all. I could be wrong but I believe the club have insurance policies for this exact reason and the insurance company would do the pay out but Mendy needs to sue the club first.

He’s at best a sexual predator and at worst a serial rapist. City just need to do whatever is legally correct and end his association with the club once and for all.
