Yes the USA has plenty to blame in the current Ukrainian situation, this article sounds mostly like a rosy portrait of Russia not doing anything wrong and the US/EU being big bad monsters. Too one sided with an apparent bias/agenda/etc

In fact, during Gorbachev’s term, the Baltics were still an integral part of the Soviet Union, nobody even thought about them getting into NATO.
