😞 My friend was robbed in Spain and he promised to bring me a DJI Mavic 3 drone from the USA.

🤔 I am now facing a problem because I need to buy a drone in Poland.

⚖️ I am a foreigner from a different nationality and I am not sure if I will be able to buy the drone without any problems.

✈️ I would also like to take the drone to Georgia.

💡 Please advise me on what to do. 🧠

  1. You’re allowed to operate a drone up to 250 grams with no license or permits required. The drone needs to remain withing your (or a spotters) line of sight at all times, no higher that 120 meters above ground and not above groups of people and not around airports, military installations, etc.

The drone you mentioned weighs around 1kg, so you’d need an A2 certificate to operate it in Poland, no idea about Georgia. I’m pretty sure you can buy and own it without any red tape though.

You should be able to get drones in the toy alley in supermarkets, especially with Christmas approaching, though I’m not sure about expensive ones like the Mavic. Or you can just buy online from anywhere. Here’s an online store in Poland that stocks Mavics: [>>Click<<](https://flystore.pl/DJI-Mavic-3-Classic-DJI-RC.html), though I’m sure you can find others – this is just the first thing I found in Google.
