    This is about council staff, not councillors. Staff don’t set policy. This is not news.

    Some council employees have business interests, and declare them as required to by regulations.

    Why did you think it was worthy of bringing to our attention?

    There are 31 local authorities in Ireland, all presumably have the same declaration of interests by staff. And probably all have staff who are landlords.

    This is going to be the same article over and over again, a shit Advent calendar.

    Wait till they find out the dail and seanad have them too!

  5. Being landlord was one of the best financial decisions one could take in last decade. Isn’t it good those smart people are working for council or government?
