The people who died that day deserved to be remembered.
Glad that sense prevailed among the members of the council.
Interesting that some residents objected to this. The renaming of streets etc should continue regardless. There should be no remembrance for those who enabled or supported colonialism here.
Berkeley Street should be renamed also Westmoreland Street for starters. You would expect SF will make these changes if they get into power.
