  1. Just from looking at these two movie posters, I am instantly turned off from ever wanting to see either of these programs.

  2. Disney’s about to cancel all Marvel projects at this rate.

  3. Like why did they have trials for people that didn’t understand their crimes and you were going to wipe their memories anyway?

  4. You mean a show for general audiences is magically more popular than niche programming? Colors me surprised.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Loki, but it isn’t intended for everyone. That’s not gatekeeping, it’s a show for comic book fans about one specific character is segmenting a targeted audience rather than “hey, you all can watch this.”

  5. Note: Disney+ and Hulu merge in December

    From the article
    > This might have been because the show was released on both Hulu and Disney+, broadening its reach, which managed to get onto the overall charts.

  6. Loki season 2 is the best thing in the MCU since Endgame. It also places the “He Who Remains” arc in a nice stopping point while Jonathan Majors starts his trial.

With the abysmal ratings for The Marvels, I am hoping Disney will finally see that movies actually need GOOD WRITING and get their shit together, but I won’t hold my breath.

I cannot recommend Loki enough, but will flat out ignore any MCU project until I hear they are making decent attempts at the craft again.

  7. Goosebumps was awesome. I didn’t expect it to be but it was definitely a nice surprise.

  8. It was good! The end was kind of a mess but it was a lot of fun getting there.

  9. You mean a show that appealed to previous fans of the franchise was more popular with those fans than a show that seemed to actively antagonize fans of the title character and torment them with everything they didn’t want to see? You don’t say.

  10. I think it airing on both Disney+ and Hulu together helped this series.
