Hi everyone just completing a Wales artwork at the moment looking for some quirky ideas for the painting. Would appreciate your ideas. Will end up looking a bit like the other artworks. Cheers Paul.

1. Needs Michael Sheen for sure. He’s played a lot of quirky characters.

3. Wales is such a large and culturally diverse place compared to the other places you’ve shown here. What’s relevant to someone from North Wales would mean nothing to someone from Cardiff.

   I’m reminded of that ‘Newport state of mind’ parody song and Goldie Lookin Chain’s response.

4. Nessa from Gavin and Stacey. Aneurin Bevan. Stereophonics. (Sounds like the best dinner party guests ever)

6. Sooo Wales has the same amount of note worthy things as Hull?

7. Jenny Jones, sheep, wool spinning, Mari Lwyd and a nice bit of Caernarfon welsh tapestry.

8. Got to have a “who’s coat is that jacket” in there somewhere. Also Twin Town (the Rhys Ifans film). Definately something to do with the mines
